skaaf is based in london in the uk, and was launched in september 2017 with the aim of reinventing the classic scarf for the modern day.

the skaaf collection is made from only the finest 100% cashmere. the natural fibers are from mongolia and china and are lovingly cultivated to ensure they maintain their outstanding quality and durability.

the skaaf collection come in two sizes depending on your preferred scarf.  The classic cashmere scarf and reversible cashmere scarf are both 180cm x 25cm, while the knitted cashmere scarf is 200cm x 30cm.

we have tested many scarves and have found that these are the optimal sizes to allow for wearing your scarf in a number of ways, whilst ensuring extreme warmth against your skin.

we don’t charge extra for this as we believe your scarf deserves the finest packaging, whether you are buying for yourself or treating someone you love to a gift.

all scarves are manufactured at a 200 year old factory in the heart of the countryside of scotland.

there are in the region of 30 different processes involved in transforming raw cashmere fibres into your luxurious skaaf. expert craftsmen and women take pride in every thread, every twist, every yarn and every stitch.

your cashmere scarf can be hand-washed or dry-cleaned. we recommend hand washing in 35C water using a good quality cashmere shampoo. gently rub the fabric, then rise in cold water. gently squeeze the water our and then smooth the scarf back into shape. when dry press lightly with a cool iron.
